Overview

The Spark app empowers beginner artists to seamlessly apply for the Exposure Festival, enabling festival teams to effortlessly sort and filter applicants for optimal selection.

Challenge

Submitting applications was previously a chaotic and unstructured process, creating significant barriers for both artists and festival coordinators. This leads to difficulties in collecting information about the bands, inconsistent communication, lack of feedback for rejected applicants.

Comprehensive application that unites musicians and festival teams in a single, efficient platform. Musicians can easily submit their details, communicate directly with festival teams, and schedule rehearsals-all within the Spark app.

To gain deep insights into the user experience, we conducted interviews with the festival team, uncovering their key communication challenges and organizational hurdles. Gaining insight into their perspectives helped us design solutions that directly address these issues.
